Directed by  Nahnatchka Khan. Written by David Matalon, Sasha Perl-Raver, and Jen D’Angelo based on a story by David Matalon & Sasha Perl-Raver. Starring  Kiernan Shipka, Olivia Holt, Julie Bowen and Troy L. Johnson.

To get us started, here is a synopsis: Thirty-five years after the shocking murders of three teens, an infamous killer returns on Halloween night to claim a fourth victim. When 17-year-old Jamie comes face-to-face with the masked maniac, she accidentally time-travels back to 1987. Forced to navigate the unfamiliar culture, Jamie teams up with her teenage mother to take down the psycho once and for all.

We want to caution you that this episode is full of spoilers. We go in-depth on every aspect of the plot so if you care about that go watch the movie and come back. We’ll be waiting.

Tree Gelbman is a blissfully self-centered collegian who wakes up on her birthday in the bed of a student named Carter. As the morning goes on, Tree gets the eerie feeling that she’s experienced the events of this day before. When a masked killer suddenly takes her life in a brutal attack, she once again magically wakes up in Carter’s dorm room unharmed. Now, the frightened young woman must relive the same day over and over until she figures out who murdered her.
